Air Juan Aviation Company makes it easier for tourists to travel to the Philippines’ top vacation destination – Coron, Palawan

2022 Update: Air Juan is not flying due to Covid 19.

By launching operations at Boracay Airport in Caticlan, Malan, and offering chartered flights to Coron, Palawan.

Air Juan prides itself on offering the easiest way to travel from Puerto Princesa to anywhere in Palawan. With this new service, the airline primes itself to become the top airline among people who want to visit Boracay’s pristine waters and the breathtaking paradise that is Coron.

To accommodate passengers for the flight, the airline dispatches the Grand Caravan EX, a nine-seater aircraft, to transfer guests from Boracay to the Francisco Reyes Airport at Coron, Palawan on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Before, people coming from Boracay would have to have taken a 3-hour ride from Iloilo International Airport before hopping to the plane going to Coron. The 200 kilometers that separate Boracay and Coron are covered by a 45-minute ride from the Boracay Airport.

Demand for a Boracay to Coron service is high based on an exit survey conducted by Coron’s tourism office. This service is beneficial to Boracay and Coron as it will drive more people to both islands due to the convenience and reduced travel time. According to the Boracay Informer, Boracay is the most visited place in the Philippines of 2013 with 1.36 million visitors, while Coron is the second most visited place in Palawan with 91,580 tourists.

A one-way trip from Boracay to Coron and vice versa is Php3,499. The fare aside from VAT is the baggage allowance from up to 10 kilograms and passenger insurance. Tourists can book their flights at the Air Juan official website, Quiñon Ticketing Office, or any of Coron and Boracay’s partner agents.
